The Española property is located within the coastal Iron Oxide-Copper Gold (IOCG) deposit belt of Peru; approximately 25 km ENE of the Raul-Condestable and 1.2km NNE of the past producing Rosa Maria vein, also located within Grenville Gold-controlled Claims.    In 2008, the Raul-Condestable mine held approximately 10 million tons of Reserves grading 1.27% copper and approximately 7.6 million tons of Measured and Indicated Resources grading 1.77% copper (Even et al., 2009)1.  Both properties are characterized by sub-vertical copper-bearing structures with similar surface mineralogy and with extensive lateral continuities.  The Española property is at an early exploration stage and no CIMM-compliant Resources currently exist.

The northwest striking Ysabel vein structure sporadically outcrops over a distance of approximately 400m and possibly extends under the overburden cover and at a depth.  The mineralized widths locally reach up to 3m.  The oxidized surface rock contains malachite, bornite, covelite, chalcocite, limonite, iron oxides, pyrolusite and other secondary minerals.

Initial limited sampling (7 samples) performed by the Company indicates that the Ysabel mineralization is characterized by anomalous mineral contents which assays on average 3.03% Cu2 and 0.176 g/t Au.  One sample is characterized by a Cu content that is above 10%.

Three samples (ES-35, ES-36, ES-37) were also taken from a 20cm wide structure where artisan minors periodically extract ore using rudimentary tools.  Initial limited sampling indicates that the mineralization is characterized by anomalous mineral contents which assays on average 7.602 g/t Au and 0.1887% Cu.  The extent of this mineralization is unknown.

Six samples were also collected within the Rosa Maria underground workings and surface outcrops.  Initial limited sampling indicates that the mineralization is characterized by anomalous mineral contents which assays on average 5.41% Cu2, 13.7 g/t Ag, 0.59 g/t Au and 0.25% Zn.  Two samples are characterized by Cu contents above 10% and one sample with an Au content reaching 2.032 g/t.

Table 1 gives the sample results whereas Figure 1 illustrates the sample locations.

 Table 1.  Preliminary sample results.

The sample results approximate the average compositions of the areas sampled and therefore are considered representative.  However, the Property is at an early exploration stage and the current sampling results cannot be expected to reflect the true average ore value or composition.  A systematic sampling campaign of the entire mineralized structures is needed in order to get statistically valid average metal contents. The structures geologic and economic continuities have not been systematically studied; however, it is to be expected that vein deposits are typically discontinuous and formed by high grade zones separated by lower grade material.

Analyses for the samples reported herein were carried out by Inspectorate Services Peru S.A.C. in Lima, Peru. Inspectorate Services Peru S.A.C. is an International Organization for Standardization (“ISO”) 9001: 2000-certified laboratory. The precious and base metals determinations were obtained using a combination of inductively-coupled plasma and/or fire assay and/or atomic absorption spectroscopy depending on the metal content of the samples.

No quality control program was implemented by the Company to support this sampling program.  Inspectorate Services Peru S.A.C. is an ISO-certified laboratory and has a well-defined internal quality control protocol.  The ES-37 sample was analyzed three times in order to study the gold result variations.  The triplicate results displayed considerable variations and indicate that the gold distribution is heterogeneous.  The nugget effect is typical of vein deposits and has possibly biased the gold values reported in this news release.  Further sampling is needed to confirm the extent of the gold mineralization.

In light of these new encouraging results the company has decided to invest 100K in exploration in order to carry out a Property-wide geological mapping and sampling program which will expand the current knowledge and possibly identify new mineralization.   High resolution Quickbird and Aster satellite imagery will be acquired and interpreted in order to focus the regional exploration program

The technical information within this news release has been reviewed by Luc Pigeon, B.Sc., M.Sc., P. Geo and Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101.

1              The Qualified Person has been unable to verify this information.  This information is not necessarily indicative of the mineralization on the Española property.

2              For statistical purposes, the Cu overlimits (>10%) are considered 10%.
